Divinity
The god-spell skill - twenty spells across four tomes, cast from Olympian runes, from Spear of Achilles at level 1 to Storm of Zeus at 150.
What Divinity is
Divinity is Olympus' own magic skill. It has its own spellbook - every new hero starts on it, and ::divinity switches back to it from any other book - and it levels by casting. Each spell costs Olympian runes, and the xp you get is 1.5x the runecrafting xp of the runes you burned: Spear of Achilles pays about 900 a cast, Storm of Zeus about 400,000.
Spell damage scales off your max melee hit, so Divinity is a layer on top of your class and gear rather than a replacement for them.
Tomes
Spells are grouped into four tomes. A tome is a tier: keeping a Tome of Zeus in your inventory unlocks the whole book, a Tome of Athena only its own row. A spell is lit in the book only when you have the runes, the Divinity level and a tome of at least its tier.
| Tome | Tier | Spells |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Spear → Errand (levels 1 - 80) | |
| 2 | Maw → Sands (90 - 115) | |
| 3 | Tide → Deluge (125 - 135) | |
| 4 | Thunderbolt → Storm (140 - 150) |
A tome is bound from its parts: use the front cover on the back cover with all three pages in your inventory. "Read" on a complete tome explains it and switches you to the book.
Tome parts are being placed into drop tables and rewards for launch; check the Discord announcements for where each tome's pages drop.
The twenty spells
Cooldowns are per spell. "Max hit" means your own max melee hit.

| 150 | 4 Zeus, 2 Poseidon | 120 s | Five bolts, one a tick, each up to 0.6x to every foe within 5 tiles of your target. |
Rune supply
A spell never costs a rune above its own level, and the primary rune is always the newest one you can craft at that level - so a Runecrafter can keep their own book fed from level 1. The whole ladder is in the Runecrafting guide.
Buffs and the HUD
Aegis, Wings, Fury, Might, Nemean Ward and Terror show as timed buffs in the buff overlay. Like every long-lived buff on Olympus they are saved as time-left, pause when you log out, and are stretched by the Provisions talent tree (+25% keystone, up to +75%).
At 150 with a Tome of Zeus: Fury of Ares → Might of Heracles → Thunderbolt → Storm → Sands of Kronos → Thunderbolt and Storm again. Wings of Nike whenever it is up, Aegis or Nemean Ward when the boss starts hitting back.
