Skilling Points & the Skilling Point Store
How Skilling Points are earned, what each skill pays, and every item Athena sells - including the entry tools that gate every Olympian tier.
Earning points
Every non-combat skilling action awards Skilling Points. One rule decides how many:
points = skill ceiling x resource-level curve x event multiplier, clamped 1-500
- The ceiling is per skill and sized on effort and actions per hour: AFK gathering 8-10, light production 4-10, Thieving 10, Archaeology 30, Hunter 50, Farming 40 to plant / 30 per harvested item, an Olympian agility lap 350 (40 per obstacle), a Runecrafting run 300 (scaled by essence used, out of 28).
- The level curve runs from 5% at level 1 to 100% at level 150 and uses the resource's level, never yours.
- World events pay 3x - the Aetherheart World Tree and the Titansteel Meteor.
Awards of 20 or more are announced on the spot; smaller ones bank silently and print a running total every 50 points. Blended across a normal session you can expect 4-5k an hour AFK, 5-8k on production, 7-12k hands-on at level-99 content - roughly 6k an hour.
Slayer, PokeSlayer and Divinity are combat-side and pay nothing here. Passive by-products (an Inferno adze burn, a Leviathan auto-cook, the Charming Imp) and the overnight Dragon's Hoard are excluded too - they would out-earn every real skill.
Check your balance any time by opening the shop: Athena (Skilling Shop) stands at the plaza and prints your total.
The Skilling Point Store
Prices are set in hours of skilling at the ~6k/hr blended rate. Anything not listed below is 150 points.
Olympian entry tools - the only source
These four are the gates to every Olympian tier. Nothing else sells them; the rungs above each are forged, never bought.

Skill capes and the Completionist Cape
| Cape | Price | To buy and wear | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skill cape (one per skill) | 25,000 (~4 h) | Level 150 in that skill | +25% xp in its own skill. Its stats match the 5th best cape in ::bis for whichever style you wear it in. |
| Completionist Cape | 125,000 | 75% of achievements, every quest, and 75% of collection logs | +50% xp in every skill. Its stats match the best cape in ::bis, and you can recolour it with Customize. |
Cape stats follow the ::bis ladder automatically, so they stay current as new capes come into the game. The store won't sell you a cape you can't wear yet.

What moved out of the store
The eight skilling perk items (Aura of the Jack-of-Trades, Efficiency Totem, Silverhawk Boots, Blood Beaver, Cyclopean Pickaxe, Leviathan Harpoon, Ashfall Tinderbox) and Magic secateurs / Scroll of life are no longer sold - every one is a Forge recipe now. See Skilling tools & the Forge ladder.
Agility tickets no longer buy gear either; they are exchanged for xp at the ticket trader. See Agility.
