Talents

The account-wide talent system - nine trees, 63 talents, how points are earned and gated, and every node laid out tree by tree.

talentstalent pointssigilharvestartisanpactonslaughtaegiszealcleaveprovisionsspoilsUpdated 2026-09-14

How the system works

::talents opens three tabs - Utility & DR, PvM and Skilling - holding nine trees of nine talents each. Every tree is one mechanic: the tier-1 node is a keystone that grants an ability you did not have, the seven nodes below amplify that same ability, and the capstone transforms it. No effect appears twice anywhere in the system.

Points

Talent points arrive as Olympian Talent Sigil - a stackable, untradeable token. Claim one for a point, Claim-all for the stack. Sigils are the first reward on every achievement row and sit in the collection log rewards; they are never sold or dropped by monsters. Maxing every tree takes 185 points.

Gating

Tiers are gated by named talents, not by point totals:

  • Tier 2 needs the keystone maxed - you cannot amplify an ability you do not have.
  • Tier 3 needs both outer tier-2 nodes (the left and right ends) maxed.
  • The capstone needs every other node in the tree maxed. It is the whole tree, finished.

Refunds

Right-click a node → Refund a point, or Reset a whole tree. A refund that would strand points above a tier gate is refused - drop the downstream nodes first.

✦
Class talents are separate

::ctalents is your class tree - ten nodes per class that level from damage dealt. This page is the account tree, which every character has regardless of class.

Skilling

Harvest - gathering

Every 10th gather yields double; the amplifiers lean on this server's own skilling - charged ore nodes, the Olympian farm, the 1-in-10 Olympian fish, the altar yields. Gathering skills are Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing and Farming.

Cleave - area damage

Nobody has AoE by default - the keystone grants it. "NxN" is a count of mobs in a pack, matching the 3x3 / 4x4 / 5x5 instance packs, not a box of tiles. The splash starts at 10% of the hit and reaches 80% fully invested.

A recharging hitpoint shield that soaks damage before your health and paints the blue orb. Nine angles on one shield: bigger, sooner, damage reduction while it holds, healing on an unspent recharge, a detonation when it breaks, overflow healing into shield, reflect, and a death-save capstone.

Where to put your first points

  • Skiller: Harvest keystone, then Bountiful and Swift Hands, then Prospector. Artisan keystone when you start production, straight to Bulk Brewing / Bulk Smithing.
  • PvMer: Onslaught keystone, Precision and Savage Blows, then Aegis for survivability. Cleave once you are farming instanced packs.
  • Everyone: Spoils keystone early - a guaranteed roll every 25 kills adds up across an account's lifetime.
