64-bit item stacks - no 2.147 billion cap
Every item stack - Dracma first of all - can pass 2,147,483,647. Trades, the bank, the pouch, shops, ground items and the Grand Exchange all carry the full number, so nothing ever silently clamps.
Stacks past 2.147 billion
On most servers 2,147,483,647 is a hard ceiling on a stack of coins - and on a trade, a bank slot, a shop sale and a ground drop. With the Olympus economy sized in tens of millions of Dracma per Forge recipe and a hundred million for a god relic, that ceiling would be hit.
Every stack on Olympus is 64-bit, everywhere an amount travels:
- Inventory, bank, trade screen, price checker, money pouch, shops, the POS and the Grand Exchange.
- Ground items, so a dropped stack of any size is still the right size when it is picked up.
- The wire to the client - large amounts are sent as a wider field and drawn with the right suffix.
Nothing is different to play; the difference is that nothing silently clamps. Combat has the same treatment for bosses with more than 2.147 billion hitpoints.
