Not the Tartarus Minotaur

Tartarus ends on the Minotaur with the Warden's kit. Asterion - the Minotaur's name in the myth - is the same body in a different fight: a standalone boss in a Knossos bull-court you can run any time, built on the same instancing as Medusa. He has his own drop table, his own Collection Log page and his own Enchanting Tomes (Radiance, Signet, Embers).

The arch is the gate

::minotaur (or the Bosses tab) lands you in a corridor. Walk north to the arch and it stops you with the court menu:

Bull-court I - IIIEveryoneNormal
Court of Minos / Daedalus / TheseusHoplite / Hero / Immortal+10% / +20% / +30%
Private court25M Dracma, 30 minutes, yours aloneNormal

Walk back south through the arch and you leave the court. Health is 150,000 solo and +50% per extra player; anyone who deals at least 500 damage rolls the table, and every qualifying member is paid 1,500 Olympian Points.

The kit

He runs a rotation, not a random roll, and every special is a telegraph with a clean answer:

MoveTellAnswerIf you miss
Bull RushHe locks on for four ticks and a line lights from him to youStep off the line - and not to within one tile of where it ends150-250, thrown two tiles and frozen
Sundering CleaveHe plants and raises the axe; every tile within two of his body lightsThree tiles clear120-200
Shattering StompCracks run out from under him in eight spokesStand between the spokes - or under him80-140
Prayer pierceNoneDo not rely on Protect from Melee - one auto-swing in five lands through it at half damage-
BloodlustAt 35% once: he roars and speeds upSave cooldowns for after it, not beforeAttacks faster, specials come sooner, +25% damage

Every special goes through your damage reduction and armour, so the gear you bring matters as much as the footwork.

The HUD

The court has its own overlay: the boss bar, a top-five damage meter with share percentages, and a court panel showing who is inside, the drop bonus and when a private court closes. Polyphemus shares the same overlay.
