The Trials of Hercules - a six-Labour raid

Six bosses in a row on one hand-built map - the Stymphalian Marsh, the Cretan Ring, the Lernaean Spring, the Erytheian Pastures, the Nemean Crag and the Gates of Erebos - for up to four players, on four tiers, paying seal fragments toward the four Olympian seals.

The shape of a run

Where Tartarus scatters you into a maze, the Trials are a line: entry, then six arenas joined by narrow passes, each pass sealed behind you until the boss ahead of it falls. The boss spawns when the first player walks in, not on a timer, and dying drops you at a pocket just below the current Labour - it never ends the run. Party cap is four.

#LabourArenaThe trick
1Stymphalian BirdsThe MarshFeather volleys that ignore armour, and a flock that grows at three HP thresholds
2The Cretan BullThe RingThree marble columns; make it charge into one and it is stunned for a burst window
3The Lernaean HydraThe SpringFought in water. Rotating tidal sweeps, a rising tide, venom blooms, and a submerge that heals off anyone left in the pool
4GeryonThe PasturesThree minds - it announces melee, ranged or magic and you swap prayers with it
5The Nemean LionThe CragNear-immune except in the Winded window after each pounce
6CerberusThe Gates of ErebosEverything the other five taught, at once

Tiers and affixes

TierBoss HPBoss damageRewards
Mortalx1.0x1.0x1.0
Herox1.6x1.25x1.35
Demigodx2.5x1.55x1.9
Titanx3.8x1.9x2.6

Every run rolls an affix (two on Titan) and a bounty - a side condition that pays extra if the party keeps to it. HP climbs faster than damage, so a Titan run is a long fight rather than a one-shot one.

Rewards - fragments to seals

The Trials pay seal fragments. Fragments forge into the four Olympian seals, which are the keys to the Forge's best recipes and to the enchanting Tome ladder:

Every party member is paid 25,000 Olympian Points on a clear - the single biggest payout in the game - and the map itself was drawn from overhead so every arena reads as a floor plan: the Hydra's three rings, the Bull's three columns and the Lion's crag are all visible on the minimap before you step in.
